Problem

Even though Genesis were becoming the most innovative, future focused and customer-centric power company in New Zealand, their customers weren’t seeing that and were being lured away by cheaper prices.

Approach

We built a new brand platform that was focused on collaboration and customer-centricity. We also worked closely with Genesis to ideate and bring to market innovative products and services that deliver on the new platform; creating value for customers over and above their electricity supply. Perception of Genesis has shifted significantly from slightly old fashioned, to innovative and future focused. And customer numbers have now begun to stabilise for the first time in years.
